Hey, I’m Wikan

I’m a Data / Software Engineer who likes to build things, sometimes for fun and sometimes just to see if I can. I’ve spent the last few years wrangling data, scraping the web (legally, I swear), and building tools that hopefully make someone’s life a little bit easier.

This blog is where I dump my thoughts, experiments, half-baked ideas, and ocassionally something useful. If you’re into web scraping, browser extensions, data pipeline, or random programming rabbit holes, you might find something interesting here. Or not. Who knows.

  You’re given the initial of a country, and you have to guess which one it is. Click on the map, and it’ll tell you if you’re getting warmer or colder based on how close your guess is to the actual country. Also pure HTML + Javascript. Try it here.

  You guess it right, it’s a shared, privacy-first household grocery list tracker. And I’m very proud to announce that my biggest and most demanding client—my wife—is now fully satisfied with it. Follow my client’s success story here.
